Message Boards Are Like High School

I've been thinking about this for awhile. There are a few message boards that I go to where I feel totally comfortable. Yet for the most part I find that they are like High School. If you are one of the 'in' group people will respond to your question, inquiry or respond to your WIP (works in progress)/HD (happy dances.) All that stuff just kind of bugs me. Someone isn't more worthy of having thier posts responded to just because they are 'popular.'

Hi Stacey, just found a link to your blog through your post on HAED, Iive added you to my blog list, I know what you mean about the clickiness but some people spend nearly all day everyday on their computer, you will get a few people like me who look and post regardless of whether I know the person

Hey glad you found me. Yeah some people do spend a lot of time at their computers on message boards that's for sure.

I am on a few MB, two of them with you,and some I do post more on than others because I don't feel welcome on some, and I don't always reply,as I worried it'll be a thread killer. I tend to lurk as well and just reply if I have something to say!I think we all just want to be liked.

Rachel,
Yeah I agree we just want to be liked. I will post if I feel I have something to share. Never been one to be quiet...lol. If I kill the thread then so be it...roflmao.
